BtHgl1C(endo-Pectate lyase lyase)

BtHgl1C

Endo-Hgl0222

(EC.4.2.2.2)  endo-Pectate lyase lyase

CAZy Family: PL1

PROPERTIES

1. ELECTROPHORETIC PURITY

-Single band on SDS-gel electrophoresis (MW ~55 kDa)

undefined

Figure 1. Electrophoresis analysis of BtHgl1C. M, molecular weight marker (PageRuler Prestained Protein Ladder, Thermo Scientific); lane 1, culture lysate before IPTG induction; lane 2, culture lysate of after IPTG induction; lane 3, BtHgl1C purified from Ni sepharose fastflow column.

2. SPECIFIC ACTIVITY

Produces uGalA2, uGalA3 and uGalA4. A time course of BT4115 digestion revealed the generation of uGalA5 and uGalA6 ; however, these products were subsequently digested into smaller products as the reaction progressed.

3. RELATIVE RATES OF HYDROLYSIS OF SUBSTRATES

undefined

Figure 2. PL1 HG digestion product profiles.

undefined

Figure 3. Time courses of HG digestions.

4. PHYSICOCHEMICAL PROPERTIES

pH Optima: 8.5

pH Stability: 7.5-9.5

Temperature Optima: suggested use 37 °C

5. STORAGE CONDITIONS

The enzyme should be stored at -20°C. For assay, this enzyme should be diluted in 20 mM tris pH 8.0. Swirl to mix the enzyme immediately prior to use.
